The Scramblers

Label: The Heart of Texas Records
circa 1984 - circa 1988
Canadian garage punk rock blues band from Vancouver, BC active in the mid to late 1980s.
The Scamblers were not a mainstream Band but these guys rocked really hard. They lived and breathed Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll! The Band should have had more success but blew up self imploding after signing record deal.
Quoting Rankis:
Kurt Cobain from Nirvana who was considered one of the most influential musicians in the history of alternative rock cited these guys as a big influence on him... He never missed a gig in Seattle... (Perhaps they influenced the whole grunge movement)? And they were from Van
"I never missed a gig in Van. Reminded me of Rolling Stones meets Aerosmith ... these guys had a rabid local following and were the darlings of a few labels, but came apart at the seams just after signing IIRC".
One of the best rock n roll bands ever in Vancouver... The album was shelved for almost two decades... but now available on CD Baby
